Psycho Powered Dictator
Welcome to the final look at the third pack in our first cycle of Deck-Loadable Content! In the Street Fighter DLC Pack, new Chibi fighters C. Viper and Ibuki join series veteran characters Akuma and M. Bison. In this preview, we take a look at the leader of Shadaloo himself, M. Bison!
The Street Fighter Deck-Loadable Content will include four new, playable Characters, two copies of an Attack for each Character, and two copies of a Foundation for each Character for a total of 20 foil cards.
The Psycho Powered M. Bison possesses a Hand Size of 6, 27 Vitality, and the 
, 
, and 
symbols. M. Bison plays a very interesting game of UniVersus, as his Response ability allows him to either ready his own Character or remove cards from his opponent’s discard pile as a benefit of a typically bad play result. If a player constructs M. Bison’s deck around making Control Checks, M. Bison’s character could be committed and readied a number of times during the player’s turn. This gives some valued flexibility when planning out a turn. Additionally, he can make a control check of 6 in order to burn his opponent for 1 Vitality. This gives the head of the Shadaloo Organization yet another option to finish out games.
M. Bison uses his fist to unleash a large Psycho-powered explosion with Psycho Blast! On its own, Psycho Blast is a hard-hitting, fast, off-zone Attack, but when combined with M. Bison’s own abilities, this attack can help establish M. Bison’s dominance early. On defense, the Breaker: 2 can cripple an opponent’s early attack turn if they try to push too aggressively. These offensive and defensive abilities again give players flexibility in how to play out their turns.
Psycho Energy illustrates the degree to which M. Bison’s powers extend even over his opponents! M. Bison’s abilities allow him to remove problem cards from his opponent’s discard pile, and this card extends this control to counter potential discard pile or deck recursion. Cunning players may also be able to manipulate their opponent’s deck into guaranteeing the destruction of problem foundations currently in play.
