Welcome back for another look at the second pack in our first cycle of Deck-Loadable Content. In the Soul Calibur VI pack, there are new versions of the pirate Cervantes, the Soul Edge entity Inferno, the vengeance-seeking noble Raphael, and the Last Priestess of the Winds, Talim.

Much like the previous pack, this Deck-Loadable Content will include four, new, playable characters, two copies of an attack for each character, and two copies of a foundation for each character for a total of 20 cards.
Last week, we showed you Talim’s kit. Today, we’ve got Inferno to show you.

Inferno is a mighty 35-vitality character with a hand size of 5. His resources are ,
, and
. The incarnation of the Soul Edge can remove a card from his discard for a Damage bonus to his Attack, at the cost of discarding 3 cards from his deck. Also, once per game he can force his opponents to choose 5 of his discarded Attacks and replace his hand with them.
Next up, we have the attack card Gore Fest.

Gore Fest’s got a Difficulty of 6 and a Check of 3. This is another Attack with a +2 Block Modifier, and its Speed and Damage are all within the baseline average for its Difficulty. Gore Fest plays well with all strategies that remove cards from your own discard as it pumps its own stats based on the number of cards already removed from the game.
Finally, we look at Hellfire of Despair.

Ever get tired of your opponent giving bonuses to their Attacks? How about when they give penalties to your Attacks? With Hellfire of Despair, you can prevent the Damage of an Attack from being modified at all! This Foundation also lets you remove as much of your discard as you want in one Enhance.
