In the cooperative game Cowboy Bebop: The Board Game, players work together to complete each character’s story arc and win the game, encountering iconic characters and obstacles from the anime series along the way. Players assume the roll of one of four misfit bounty hunters aboard the spaceship Bebop. Each player has a session, a series of tasks drawn from the original anime series, that must be completed in order to win. Completing the sessions requires woolong (money) and fuel to travel, make contacts, and pay for goods and services. The life of a bounty hunter is rough, and they need finish jobs to get the fruits of their labor to get fuel delicious bell peppers and beef.

Despite how capable each of the bounty hunters are, they need help from the others to complete their sessions. However things often don’t go as planned and the villains are constantly scheming. Villains and challenging events can appear to throw the bounty hunters off their session. Players win when they complete their session. Cowboy Bebop fans will love the thematic scenes at all points of the game, as it truly pays tribute to those great moments in the series.

Those of you who aren’t familiar with Cowboy Bebop, not to worry, the key to victory is teamwork!
